Hanslope Hornets Football Club Hanslope Hornets
Football Club (HHFC) also referred to below as ‘the club’ was established in
1996. HHFC is a club run
on a voluntary basis by designated officials who receive no remuneration for
their efforts. The club is run by
a committee comprising of the Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, Team Managers
and their assistant(s). HHFC is funded by
sponsorship, signing on/match fees, fund raising by its parents & subcommittee. All registered
players are covered by the clubs insurance policies paid from the signing on
fees, which covers the children whilst playing football. All coaches have
been police checked and have or are obtaining FA accredited football coaching
and first aid certificates. HHFC has an Annual
General Meeting to which all parents are invited & encouraged to attend. At
these meetings issues regarding the management, fees and club principles can
be discussed. Club PrinciplesThe football teams
are run on a friendly basis and although competitive football is played it is
not the intention of the club to win at all costs. Players may join the club
irrespective of race, religion, or gender.
The team manager is responsible for team selections and decisions as
to which league and competitions to enter. Signing on fees
must be paid before your child can re-sign or join the club, as this covers
their insurance. Match fees should be paid on the day of the match. Both these fees are agreed at the AGM. Parents are
required to play an active part in the support of their child and the club. Tasks
parents can assist include training sessions, putting up and taking down of goals
nets, fund raising , rotas for kit washing and tea making etc. All volunteers can play an important part
in running successful teams, please help where you can and do not wait to be
asked. Parents are
responsible for the arrival of their child at matches and training sessions
and if not staying for the duration, the timely collection of their child
after the session. An arrangement to take or collect a child by another
parent are purely an independent action and is not the responsibility of
HHFC. The club exists to
allow children the opportunity to train and play football; it is not aimed to
provide a child minding service. Whilst it is
appreciated that they are children or youths, any player who continually
misbehaves at training &/or at matches will be required to have a parent
present &/or may be excluded from participating. The club has a
website that may feature the team or photographs of the squad or individual
players. If you are concerned about photography or video of team activities
please register your concern with the secretary and/or team manager. Tick the
appropriate box on the attached registration form. In the unlikely
event of a dispute the decision of the majority of the committee is final. Although accidents
are rare they can occur. The club endeavours to have a trained first aider
for each team. Parents must accept that in the event that they cannot be
contacted or be present quickly, then club officials will act on their behalf
to undertake or authorise medical treatment if an emergency arises. |
