Ted was the man who started the first Hanslope Hornets team 10 years ago.

His son Steve, and some of his mates, asked Ted if they could start up a football team. So in true Dad fashion, he started to research what was required to set up a team.

They played their first match in December 1996.

Steve still plays for us in the Under 16’s team today.

Once the first team got rolling, others got involved and started up new teams. The club then started to grow into what we have today.

Ted is now planning his next season with HHFC and is forming a Colts Team working with Steve Line, taking the Under 16’s up to a new league, a brave new challenge with lads playing up to Under 18’s.
