Following the sad news of Matthews death
in November of last year, Matthews parents, Andrew and Linda,
requested that any donations be made to the Under 14’s
Team. Numerous people have very kindly made such donations.
Many of you will know that Matthew was
part of the coaching staff supporting the under 14’s
team and he gave up numerous hours of his free time to help
this team develope their football skills.
It was Andrew and Linda’s wish to
help continue this work in Matthews name by making any donations
made available to the under 14's team.
I can now confirm that the final monies
have been received and banked into a Trust Fund for the use
of the Under 14’s team only, going with them as they
move up the age groups.
On behalf of the Under 14’s Team,
and Hanslope Hornets FC, may I say a very big thank you to
everyone who made a donation; there were many of you who did.
The final figure that has been banked
for future use over the next few years came to £1,707.09.
Again, a very big thank you to everyone
who made this all possible.
