Welcome

Welcome to the Hanslope Hornets Football Club Guide. The aim of this guide is to bring together all of the information that you might need to know about the club. However, if you still have a query after reading it you could try our website at www.HanslopeHornetsFC.net or ask any of the managers or committee members by using the contact list included in this guide.

We are very proud to be working to become a Football Association Charter Standard club. This is a scheme introduced in 2001 by the FA with three main aims, to recognise good practice, raise standards and reward quality in grassroots football.

In order to achieve the award we have to demonstrate that we are a well organised and safe club ensuring child protection is paramount and we now undertake a continuous review of all aspects of the way the club is administered and managed to ensure that these standards are maintained.

We have an ongoing education programme which means that we provide FA qualified coaches for all age groups. As well as good practice in football coaching skills, this qualification also includes courses on Child Protection and First Aid. All of our managers and coaches are checked by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB).

We will take our Charter Standard mark very seriously and all players, spectators, managers and coaches should read this handbook thoroughly so that they know what this means and what is expected of the club and of them.
